we started 10 cars in the late afternoon at California. It was a caution filled race until the lights came on and we finished with a couple long green runs. Most everyone was suffering some damage on their cars but Pro Pep had the least amount and easily won the event. It was interesting to see guys adjusting on setups as we went from day to night at the track. Congrats to Pro Pep on his second win at XNSRL.
Well, "what can I say?" someone had to win! It was a tough track with a tendency to snap loose beyond return in blink. I had a pretty decent setup but did had to add a click of wedge late in the race as it was trying to get away from me on accelartion.
I seen a lot of self-spins but I also see a lot of very clean racing. You guys are a great group.
I'd love to know more about your league. When it started, by whom and just how it came to be? Also how long has the group been together and how many are you?
I mentioned last night and will again here. What do you gents do on Friday nights? I have an idea for some great fun and need a place to do it.
Sorry again Jack for getting into you. I know you say it was racing and you are for sure a good sprot. However, it was totally unnecessary and boneheaded by me. Big track with plenty of room and there was oodles of time to excercise more patience. I truly hate when I do something like that.
Anyways, thanks again for letting me run with you guys.
A brief history of XNSRL: It started in 2003 after the demise of NSRL,Mike Smith and Cagerattler got things together and most of the guys from NSRL joined. We have ran 2003-2005 and tried 2007. As 2005 died out and guys starting looking for other sims we ran VHR and Arca. Vhr just didn't have the support and we are now trying to build up ARCA.We still run 2003 on the first saturday of each month,it's an international series run by Joe Stiendl of Austria I think.Theres drivers from all over Europe running in that series. The total membership of XNSRL is 496 and ARCA has 49.Mike Smith is the LEAGUE ADMIN ,I'm only the ARCA series admin,Bryan Corey and John Tate are co-admins of ARCA series. We are open to any new ideas for the league and welcome any input you have.
And we're glad to have you racing with us,Clean curtious drivers are always welcome, now if you'd just slow down a bit and give us a chance it would be great It's fun racing with you and hope you decide to spend more time here. See ya on the track!!
